It is official.  Today at about 3:15pm, the doctors in Pittsburgh called and told us the mass in her leg is malignant.  “Myxoid Liposarcoma”.

We go back to Pittsburgh on Thursday to conference with a bunch of different doctors to work up a plan. 

From what I understand here are the scenarios:

A:  The tumor is well differentiated with less than 10% round cells, has not metastasized.

B:  The tumor is poorly differentiated, has more than 10% round cell, and already has or will metastasize to the lungs and liver.

Let’s hope for scenario A.
